The ultimate source of energy for plants is sunlight. The sun allows the plants to manufacture their own food. The plant can make food through converting the sun into food. This process is called Photosynthesis.

Photosynthesis is a process done by the plant with the help of the sun. This process is when the energy from the light of the sun is converted by the plant into food. If the plt does not have enough sunlight, it will not be able to have enough food to sustain itself. With out the sun, it will not grow and live.
Process
The light of the sun is absorbed by the leaves of the plant. Then, when the light of the sun enters the plant through the leaves, the energy of the sun’s light is turned into sugar. The sugar will then serve as the food of the plant, making the plant grow and live.
Benefits
Photosynthesis does not only give benefits to the plant, but it can give benefits to all the organisms in Earth. Photosynthesis allows the plants to create and release oxygen into the air. This makes humans and other living things breathe and live. If the plants are healthy due to photosynthesis, then it can also be food source to humans and other living organisms. This is how important photosynthesis is for the ecosystem.

When you are planting, you must put into consideration the sun light source of the area where you will plant the plant. This way, the plants will grow and live accordingly.

Ethanol is also a source of energy. This is used as fuel from fermented sugar cane, corn and other crops. This is one of the very firsts fuels used as energy source for cars. This is purer than the traditional gasoline, but this has higher level of smog and ozone emissions. Plants are the best sources of ethanol. Bio diesel is also another source of energy and fuel.
